Events
Through running events we’re able to be part of the school as well as get to know parents and pupils. Attendance at key school events gives parents the opportunity to provide feedback and introduce the school catering team to new families.
Themed events:
Our catering teams look forward to the planned theme day menus as much as the children! Each year we plan a themed calendar that links the menu to cultural, local and national events. Our menus not only provoke excitement but allow us to introduce new dishes and connect to curriculum themes.
School Council:
We attend the regular school food for life meetings. Before adding to our menus, our recipes are trialed in schools and taste tested by our key customers, the children. New menu items will be offered as tasters prior to featuring on the menu so that pupils have the opportunity of commenting on the dish, adjustments can be made accordingly.
Taster Sessions:
We host regular sessions where all parents are welcome to get the chance to taste our menu and see how far school meals have progressed in the last few years! Attending these events offers the opportunity to ask questions and to find out more about where our food comes from, how we cook our dishes, dealing with allergies, ‘picky’ eaters and much, much more.
