Our professional team's main focus is to be an accessible extension of your school staff.

    Catering Operations Manager

    Christine brings vast expertise and experience gained from over 30 years within Education Catering and an unflagging passion and dedication to the job. Christine works with Waltham Forest college to create bespoke, hands on courses that inspire and educate our professional team and ensures Health and Safety procedures are kept up to date.

    Area Manager

    Recruitment & Personal Development

    With a responsibility for leading on recruitment and personal development, Jennifer adheres to stringent safer recruitment guidelines to ensure new recruits are fully vetted and approved to work in schools.

    As an experienced Catering Area Manager, Jennifer is able to develop excellent relationships with schools ensuring that the kitchen teams meets the needs of the staff and pupils.

    Area Manager

    Nutrition

    Bringing many years of Education Catering expertise to play in leading on nutrition, Sue ensures that menus and recipes are fully compliant with all relevant guidance and legislation including Governments’ nutritional and food based standards. As our in house development Chef, Susan develops new exciting recipes that reflect current healthy eating trends.

  • Sandra Petkovic

    Business Support Officer

    Sandra takes on the day to day administrative tasks within the catering office situated centrally in Walthamstow. Sandra is the first point of contact for kitchen staff in order to maintain the smooth running of all our sites; recording equipment breakdowns, answering queries, issuing uniform, collating theme day packs, recording training and so much more.

  • Ali Rafiq

    Finance Officer

    Ali is first port of call for any and all finance or invoicing queries schools may have. He has a background in both corporate and schools finance and can often be overheard offering tips on tricky systems. He’s always at the end of the phone to answer questions and has even been known to go out and spend a day with Finance Officers when someone needs a hand getting to the bottom of a backlog for whatever reason.

    Financial Accountant

    Ola is in charge of our financial reporting and finance business partnering. Ola’s focus is the financial sustainability of our service to schools, knowing that in a cash-strapped educational landscape, cost is becoming an ever more important decider for school contracts and has to be monitored closely.

  • Natalie Kruger

    Head of Commercial Operations

    Natalie is responsible for the commercial operations across all of Waltham Forest Council's services to schools and for providing strategic leadership to our service. Natalie is instrumental in disseminating key learnings from across all school services which ensures we stay abreast of market trends and can continue to remain competitive in a changing educational landscape.

    As a keen baker you can be sure to find Natalie joining the Cooks' pastry and baking workshops at our annual conference or taste testing our low sugar cake recipes when she happens to be in school.

  • Helen Bigham

    Marketing and Customer Engagement Manager

    Helen’s role is to manage all our marketing activities. This includes developing our long term marketing strategy in line with our key objective to provide value for money nutritious food . She has responsibility for brand management and our identity along side managing our day to day marketing activities.
